To the Members of Knock Golf Club it is a great honour and privilege for me to be elected Captain of this historic and truly great golf club.
We have a fine heritage and tradition at Knock and as your Captain I will at all times use my best endeavours to maintain that heritage and to ensure that all the members (and I underscore the words all the members) are aware of their responsibility in this regard also.
What do I want for the year 2010.
•A membership and golf club of which we are all proud.
•The members to enjoy their golf.
•Visitors to be well received and to feel welcome.
•The course to be well prepared and presented.
•The club house whether through the bar facility or catering to be a friendly welcoming environment and to be used by both members and visitors alike.
So let us enjoy our golf maintain our standards and all go forward together for the good of Knock Golf Club. Thank you for the privilege that you have bestowed on me I will give it my best during 2010.
