The Ladies weekly competitions are played on a Tuesday with an alternative day on a Sunday for women working throughout the week. Some competitions are also played on a Thursday.

- [Harry Colt Club](https://www.knockgolfclub.co.uk/club/harry-colt-club/): Harry S Colt is credited with the design, construction and remodelling of over 300 courses worldwide. These include Pine Valley, the Eden course at St. Andrews, Muirfield, Royal Lytham and St. Anne’s, Sunningdale new Course, Wentworth (East and West courses), Co. Sligo and perhaps his greatest achievement in Ireland – Royal Portrush. Colt apparently saw it as his primary task to work with the curves of nature and to make courses appear part of the existing countryside. We believe he achieved this at Knock.

Knock is a beautiful parkland golf course measuring 6,428 yards, par 70. Originally established in 1895, the course moved to the current location “Summerfield” in 1920, with leading golf course architects, Colt, Mackenzie and Allison being instructed to design the new course layout. Always in superb condition with fast greens and beautiful fairways, the course still retains many of the original features that were imagined all those years ago.
