A Message from our Captain
Thank you for visiting our Knock Golf Club Website.
It is an absolute honour to be Captain of KGC which was formed in 1895 and located on our current site from 1920. Our course was designed by leading Golf Architects Colt, Mackenzie and Alison and retains many of the features from its inception. Without doubt our course will give all players a great golfing challenge regardless of which Tee Box you play from.
We are a very welcoming Golf Club with friendly staff and great Clubhouse facilities so please ensure you visit our restaurant and bar after your golfing experience. Golf is a game for everyone, for enjoyment, for health, for life so come along and experience Knock Golf Club I am sure you will not be disappointed

A Message from our Lady Captain
It is so exciting to have started my year in office as Lady Captain at Knock. Already we have had our Winter League Dinner, our first competition of the season with a shotgun Bring and Win, the Club AGM and competitions off the newly rated black tees. All these events have been so well supported and there is a sense of excitement and anticipation for what’s to come in the season ahead with our own competitions and dinners and some interesting draws for the Interclub competitions.
Off the course there is also anticipation for change with new faces on the Board, improvements planned for the course and moving towards the One Club Model. The ladies look forward to their involvement in these changes.
I feel lucky that my year has started as we aim to get back to ‘normality’ and that the clubhouse is lively again with our new caterers, but COVID is still present, and I urge everyone to be sensible and let us all enjoy our golf and the club house as safely as possible.
It remains for me to wish Mr Captain Roy Watton a great year and I look forward to the men and ladies at Knock working together and enjoying a great season with hopefully lots of sunshine.
