A Message from our Captain

Thank you for visiting our Knock Golf Club Website.

It is a privilege to be Captain of KGC which was formed in 1895 and located on our current site from 1920. Our course was designed by leading Golf Architects Colt, Mackenzie and Alison and retains many of the features from its inception. Without doubt our course will give players, of all abilities, a golfing challenge, whilst leaving them with a truly enjoyable experience.

We are a very friendly welcoming Golf Club, with dedicated staff and “Top Notch” catering with excellent Clubhouse facilities. Please visit our restaurant and bar to complete your golfing experience.

Golf is a game for everyone, regardless of age or skill level where friendships are forged & memories made. So come along and give Knock Golf Club a try, I’m quite sure you will not be disappointed.

A Message from our Lady Captain

I am greatly honoured to be this year’s Lady Captain and to be part of the Club’s long history. I extend a warm welcome to all members, guests and visitors playing at the Club and look forward to meeting you. We have a friendly and active Ladies Section and we run a wide selection of Club competitions and team matches against other local clubs. The course is very enjoyable to play and there is always a welcome in our Clubhouse.

With a diary of competitions, matches and social events planned for the year, I encourage you to participate in as many events as possible. Our Club chosen charity this year is the Northern Ireland Blind Golf Association which was formed in 1990 and who do amazing work enabling blind and visually impaired people of all ages to play golf, which you will be able to see in action at our charity events.

I am looking forward to the year ahead and hope everyone has a fun and successful year and enjoys their golf.

Having recently taking up golf I’ve played a few courses and decided to try knock gc and can I say what day we had. The course was fantastic and although some of the holes seemed hard and challenging I thought I played them well. Luckily this is a local course for me so I know I’ll be playing it again very soon

Very much enjoyed Knock. The course was in good condition. I rarely waited to hit, so the pace was great. The course has little water and is fairly wide open. I only lost one ball, which is a small miracle. I look forward to playing here again.

Knock Golf Club came highly recommended. Ok it rained holes 2-3-4 but that didn’t put us off. I really want to play again in better weather. If your looking for 18 holes around Belfast I can’t recommend it enough.
